Do What You Want To Do
Do you struggle with poor self-discipline, weak self-control, and a lack of obedience? If you do, you’re not alone! Even the apostle Paul wrote about the challenge the flesh often presents to our good intentions and plans.
While the lessons on this teaching may not solve all your problems, be sure that there is a way for you to overcome these deficits. You can gain strength, consistency, and discipline. Listen, learn, and then take action!
IMPORTANT TEACHING POINTS you don’t want to miss . . .
- The Bible warns us that our flesh will be at war with our born-again spirit that wants to follow the ways of God. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:17
- That’s just one of the many reasons our loving and caring Father commands us to walk in the Spirit. I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
- Your Father gives you the choice. Fill your soul with the truth and power of God. Decide what you want. Discover why you want it. Make a plan. And then take action!
Now the ball’s in your court. Once you listen to the lesson, you have action steps you can take. The question is, “Will you?” I encourage you to support yourself by making a few decisions about what you want now in your life. Then uncover your “why.” Make a plan. And then step out. Remember what our “Owner’s Manual” says, “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:17. You can do it you really want the results that now are just an idea! Be blessed!
